Fig. 1. LSM subscript indicates rate in m3 ha–1. Time scales are logarithmic and labeled so that 0 = time of LSM application for each plot (negative values on the time scale thus refer to sampling events before application). Breaks in the x axis separate sections of data with different time scales or indicate instances when no samples were collected.
